Uwe Jursch (born June 20, 1963 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Jursch played the 1985/86 season for VfL Herzlake in the single track association league Lower Saxony before he was committed to the 1986/87 season by the second division VfL Osnabrück . He crowned his debut in professional football on November 8, 1986 (11th matchday) in a 3-2 win in the away game against Arminia Bielefeld with two goals, the goals for 1: 2 and 2: 2 in the 45th and 46th Minute. By the end of the 1990/91 season he played a total of 110 point games for the club, in which he scored 31 goals. He was also used in the competition for the DFB Cup . He made his debut on August 29, 1987 in the 0-2 first-round defeat against FSV Salmrohr . In 1988/89 he was used in the 1st and 2nd round and last on August 4, 1990 in the 4-2 first-round victory over SC Viktoria Köln .
For the 1991/92 season he was obliged by Hannover 96 , for which he played ten point games in the 2nd Bundesliga North and scored two goals and five out of ten promotion games within the championship round. In his last season, 1992/93 , in the 2nd Bundesliga, which was not divided into two seasons, he only played three point games.
With Hannover 96 he won the final of the DFB Cup, held on May 23, 1992 in the Berlin Olympic Stadium in front of 76,200 spectators against Borussia Mönchengladbach . In his only game in this competition this season he was substituted on when the score was 0-0 for Michael Koch in the 71st minute. Since the game was goalless after 90 minutes, his team decided it 4: 3 in a penalty shoot-out . Because of this success, he and his team took part in the international club competition for the European Cup Winners' Cup. He played his only game on September 30, 1992 in the first-round second leg against Werder Bremen , which was won 2-1, but was not enough to advance because the first leg was lost 3-1.
In his last season for Hannover 96 he was used again in this competition and only played the 3rd round, won 1-0 on October 10, 1993 at Bayer 05 Uerdingen .
