Uwe Morawe
Uwe Morawe (born January 20, 1966 in Bremen ) is a German commentator .
Career
Morawe graduated from Syke High School . He then enrolled in German studies and history at the University of Göttingen . In 1993 he sat in on the NDR sports department, later he went to the radio station FFN as a freelancer and then to Sat.1 .
From 1995 to 2013 he worked for Sport1 (then still DSF / Deutsches Sportfernsehen), where he commented on the Bundesliga Sunday games and international matches. In between he also worked for Laola and Arena . In the 2010/11 season he wrote satirical columns on Sport1 about current world football.
In November 2013 it was announced that Sport1 would not continue the cooperation with Morawe.
Since September 2015 he has been commenting on some National Football League football games for ran Football on the ProSieben Maxx TV station . Uwe Morawe has also been working as a football commentator for Eurosport since January 2016 . Since August 2016, Morawe can also be heard on OTT provider DAZN .
