Vásárosnamény is a Hungarian city in the district of the same name in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county . Vásárosnamény includes the districts Vitka and Gergelyiugornya, which were formerly independent communities.
Geographical location
Vásárosnamény is located in the eastern part of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County on the Kraszna River , which flows into the Tisza north of the city . Neighboring communities are Kisvarsány, Olcsva, Jánd and Ilk.
