Marius Valerică Găman (born February 25, 1989 in Craiova ) is a Romanian football player .
Career
Găman's career began at FC Universitatea Craiova in his hometown. In 2007 he joined the squad of the first team that played in League 1 , the first Romanian football league. In his first season he became a regular player in the season finale under Nicolò Napoli . Also in the 2008/09 season he was able to place his team in midfield. Then the club got into the relegation battle due to financial difficulties. In the winter break of 2010/11 he left the club and joined the league rivals Dinamo Bucharest . In the capital, however, he could not prevail, so that he moved to Astra Ploieşti only six months later . There he was able to finish the 2013/14 season as runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest . He then won the Romanian Cup with Astra .
In summer 2016 he was signed by the Turkish first division club Kardemir Karabükspor . In January 2018, the transfer back home to FCSB Bucharest followed, free of charge .
In summer 2018 he moved to Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia .
National team
Găman was part of the squad of the Romanian national team for the first time in October 2008, was not used by Victor Pițurcă in the games against France and Georgia . Pițurcă's successor Răzvan Lucescu did not rely on him, so that almost three years later Găman was again nominated by Pițrucă, who had taken over the helm in the summer of 2011. On November 11, 2011, he came in the friendly against Belgium to his first international match when he came on in the 85th minute for Marian Pleaşcă . Four days later he made his debut against Greece on the grid. Since then he has been a regular member of the national team.
At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in the Romanian squad . He was one of two field players who were not used in the team's three tournament games.
