Vanessa Kirby (born April 18, 1988 in Wimbledon , London ) is a British actress .

life and career

Kirby grew up in the London borough of Wimbledon. Her father is a surgeon and the mother was one of the founders of Country Living magazine.

Kirby received her first theater engagement in 2009 at the Octagon Theater in Bolton and has since appeared in many roles at stages such as the National Theater , the Young Vic or the Royal Court , and since 2010 in television series such as The Hour or Agatha Christie's Poirot and in films. She played Princess Margaret in the Netflix series The Crown from 2016 to 2017 . In 2018 she starred in the action film Mission: Impossible - Fallout . In the 2019 Fast & Furious spin-off Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw , Kirby played MI6 agent Hattie Shaw .
