Vera Int-Veen (born September 21, 1967 in Lank-Latum , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German television presenter and television producer .

life and career

Vera Int-Veen came in today to Meerbusch belonging -Latum Lank on the Lower Rhine and grew up with her five-year-older sister. Her parents ran a grocery store where she helped out as a child. Vera Int-Veen married her partner Christiane "Obi" Obermann, who also works for television, in Mallorca in 2016 and is also her manager. They have known each other since 1996 and live in Potsdam .

Controversy

From 2011 to 2012, Int-Veen moderated the Dokusoap renters on RTL , which came under increasing criticism because the authenticity of the program was questioned. After the original image material from the production company ImagoTV was made public, it became clear that subsequent processing of the material and the deliberate omission of scenes resulted in a distorted, more negative impression of those affected. Int-Veen is also said to have illegally gained access to an apartment of those filmed. The Lower Saxony state media authority then initiated proceedings against the television format.

In the episode of Neo Magazin Royale broadcast on May 12, 2016 , it became known that the team of presenter Jan Böhmermann had smuggled a candidate into the show wanted daughter-in-law presented by Int-Veen . Serious grievances in dealing with the candidates as well as deliberate oversubscription of the candidate characters became apparent.
