“Tuus Totus” (also known as “Totus Tuus”) translates as “entirely yours”. These words are the core of her spirituality and express the total devotion to Jesus Christ through Mary . From this self-understanding, the Marian prayer is prayed together with the rosary and the deepening of the Gospel is cultivated. The spiritual bond lies in the devotion to Mary and the cohesion of the Christian families, which align themselves with the will of the Second Vatican Council and find their basis in the spirituality of St. Louis Marie Grignon .

The association defines its essential goal as making the Christian life the responsibility of everyone, especially the youngest and the poorest. This includes work in prayer groups and contact with church movements, new communities and spiritual centers.

Organization and dissemination

The overall management is assumed by a general chairman, he is supported by his deputy. The association has its headquarters in Bordeaux. The smallest cells in the association are the local prayer groups. The memberships are divided into full members and associated members. Full members and associate members include religious communities , ecclesiastical works and individuals ( lay people , priests and religious ) who act in the full sense of Tuus Totus and put their lives in the service of the Holy Mother of God. Both member groups commit themselves to personal affiliation. The association has approximately 137,000 members in 37 countries, including 14 in Africa , 6 in Asia , 8 in Europe , 4 in North America , 1 country in Oceania and 4 countries in South America .
