The administrative community Großaitingen in the Swabian district of Augsburg was created on May 1, 1978 by statutory order of the government of Swabia . It consists of the communities

  1. Großaitingen , population 5192, 39.05 km²
  2. Kleinaitingen , population 1295, 15.66 km²
  3. Oberottmarshausen , 1737 inhabitants, 8.6 km²

When it was founded, Wehringen also belonged to the administrative community; the community left the administrative community on January 1, 1980.

The administrative association is based in Großaitingen. The community chairman is the mayor of Großaitingen, Franz Stellinger.
