In the administrative community Wipper-Eine in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz , 18 municipalities were originally united to handle their administrative business. The administrative community was formed on January 1, 2005 from the municipalities of the dissolved administrative communities Wippra , Sandersleben and Einetal-Vorharz . Their seat was in Quenstedt.

Until it was incorporated into the city of Sangerhausen on January 1, 2008, Wippra with the associated towns of Bodenschwende, Hayda, Popperode and Schiefergraben also belonged to the administrative community Wipper-Eine.

On March 6, 2009, the previously independent communities Abberode , Braunschwende , Friesdorf , Hermerode , Molmerswende and Ritzgerode were incorporated into the city of Mansfeld .

On January 1, 2010, the remaining communities except Arnstedt and Wiederstedt merged to form the unified municipality of the city ​​of Arnstein . The administrative community was thus dissolved. Most recently, 7908 people lived on an area of ​​121.71 km² (as of December 31, 2006). The last head of the administrative community was Thomas Müller.
