history
The origin of the administrative jurisdiction in the Oldenburg area was formed by the Higher Administrative Court for the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg . On April 11, 1906, the corresponding "law ... regarding administrative jurisdiction" was passed by the Oldenburg State Parliament . The law had essentially been drawn up by the administrative lawyer and chairman of the specially established commission, Karl Dugend . It was drawn up on May 9, 1906 by Grand Duke Friedrich August and announced in May 1906 in the three legal gazettes for the individual parts of the Grand Duchy , the part of Oldenburg, the Principality of Lübeck and the Principality of Birkenfeld . It came into force on December 1, 1906 through a decree of the Grand Duke. At the same time, the court itself was called the State Administrative Court of Oldenburg and Karl Dugend was appointed the first president of the court. His successor was Johannes Meyer-Ellerhorst until 1924 . Other court presidents were Rudolf Weber from 1925 to October 1933 and Johannes Gottlob Paul Voigt from June 1, 1949 to 1954 .
