Victor Lyngdoh

Victor Lyngdoh (born January 14, 1956 in Wahlang , Meghalaya , India ) is Bishop of Jowai .

Life

Victor Lyngdoh received on 25 January 1987, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 28, 2006, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . to the Bishop of Nongstoin . The Apostolic Nuncio in India, Archbishop Pedro López Quintana , donated him episcopal ordination on April 2 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Shillong , Dominic Jala SDB , and the Archbishop of Imphal , Joseph Mittathany .

On October 15, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Jowai. The inauguration took place on November 20 of the same year.

In October 2019 Lyngdoh was a guest of the catholic relief organization missio on the occasion of the month of world mission.
