Vidoje Matić (born January 27, 1996 in Bielefeld ) is a German futsal and soccer player of Serbian descent.

Career

With the MCH Futsal Club Sennestadt , Matić became champion in the 2016/17 season and qualified for the 2017 German championship , where his team failed in the quarter-finals at VfL 05 Hohenstein-Ernstthal . In September 2017, national coach Marcel Loosveld appointed Matic to the German national team , where Matic made his debut on September 10, 2017 in the game against Turkey .

In football, Vidoje Matić began his career at Spvg Steinhagen and then moved to Arminia Bielefeld's junior division . With the B-youth he had to relegate from the Bundesliga in 2012 . Between 2013 and 2015, he played 25 games in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga and scored two goals. After his youth, Matić moved to the upper division FC Gütersloh 2000 , where he was hardly used in the following two years. The attacking midfielder has been used seven times without scoring. In the summer of 2017, he then moved to the national league team Spvg Steinhagen, where his father Dragan played in the 1990s. After only half a year, Matić moved on to the district league club TBV Lemgo and joined Schwarz-Weiß Sende in summer 2018 . During the winter break of the 2018/19 season, he moved on to league rivals SC Hicret Bielefeld . In the summer of 2019, Matic moved to the Westphalia division VfB Fichte Bielefeld .

His main job is training to become an office management clerk . On September 24, 2019, Matić was involved in a serious traffic accident. On the A 2 near Gütersloh , for an unexplained cause, he drove his truck onto another truck standing on the hard shoulder. He broke the third and fourth cervical vertebrae , suffered a fracture of the base of the skull and also broke several ribs , the collarbone , a jaw and the cheekbone . This was followed by a six-week stay in the hospital .
