Viktor Afritsch
Viktor Afritsch (born March 23, 1906 in Graz , † March 9, 1967 in Berchtesgaden ) was an Austrian theater and film actor.
Life
Viktor Afritsch, son of the founder of Kinderfreunde Österreich, Anton Afritsch , made his debut at the Graz City Theater at the age of 17 after high school and acting training . From 1924 he went on tour with Alexander Moissi and Max Pallenberg through South America . In 1933 he received a permanent engagement at the municipal theaters of Graz.
Later worked at the Deutsches Theater in Prague until 1937 . He also began his film career in Prague, which lasted until 1962 - with appearances in over 70 films.
His two brothers were Anton junior and Josef were politicians of the SPÖ . Viktor Afritsch was with Josefine, geb. Ascherl (born June 6, 1912; † approx. 1960), married, with whom he had two sons.
His grave is in the Berchtesgaden mountain cemetery.
