Viktor Christian Konstantin Graf von Solms-Sonnenwalde (* July 8, 1815 in Kotitz, today in Weißenberg , Oberlausitz ; † March 10, 1890 in Sonnewalde ) was a Prussian district administrator in the Luckau district (1851-1870).

Life

origin

Viktor Graf von Solms-Sonnenwalde came from a branch of the Hessian aristocratic family Solms, who were wealthy in Brandenburg, with headquarters in Sonnewalde and other goods in Hillmersdorf , Proßmarke and Pouch . The possession of the registrar of Sonnewalde granted a virile vote on the man's bench of the provincial parishes of the Kurmark Brandenburg and Niederlausitz as well as a hereditary seat in the Prussian manor house .

Viktor Graf von Solms-Sonnenwalde was the son of Wilhelm zu Solms-Sonnenwalde (1787–1859) and Clementine Constantia Countess von Breßler (1790–1872).

Career

Viktor Graf von Solms-Sonnenwalde was the owner of the feudal knight estates Old and Neupouch with Friedersdorf and Aching in the Bitterfeld district . From 1851 to 1870 he served as district administrator in Luckau , Brandenburg province . He also worked as a member of the supervisory board of various railway companies. In the years 1852 to 1858 and again from 1866 to 1868 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

He married Mrs. Alwine Marie Henriette Agnes von Langenn (born February 1, 1816, † August 14, 1888).
