Vilanova del Vallès (also: Vilanova de la Roca ) is a Catalan city ​​in the province of Barcelona in northeastern Spain . It is located in the Comarca Vallès Oriental with 5432 inhabitants ( INE ; as of January 1, 2019).

The place, which is about 30 km north of Barcelona only 5 km from Granollers , was founded in 1986.
