The Viller Bach , also Ramsbach , is a right tributary of the Sill near Innsbruck in Tyrol .
The Viller Bach arises from the confluence of the Igler-Alm-Graben and Lanser Graben above Igls in the municipality of Lans . The 1.8 km long Igler-Alm-Graben rises below the Patscherkofel summit at 2004 m above sea level. A. ( ⊙ ). The Lanser Graben also rises on the northern slope of the Patscherkofel at an altitude of 1699 m above sea level. A. ( ⊙ ) and has a length of 1.1 km.
The Viller Bach flows in a north-westerly direction through the town centers of Igls, where it is partially piped, as well as Vill and a small part of Wilten . Between Igls and Vill it takes the Lanser-See-Bach, the outflow of the Lanser See , from the right. At Wilten below Vill, the brook falls relatively steeply into the Sill Gorge, where it flows into the Sill. The Viller Bach is 5.1 km long, with the Igler-Alm-Graben as the longest source brook, it comes to a length of 6.9 km and a difference in altitude of almost 1400 m.
The catchment area of the Viller Bach measures 8.7 km² and extends to the summit of the Patscherkofel ( 2246 m above sea level ).
