Vilniaus baldai
AB Vilniaus baldai is a furniture manufacturer in Lithuania , Vilnius . In 2004 there were 1,000 employees. The company is listed on the Vilnius Stock Exchange. The company was established in 1883 as a sawmill (former I. Vainikio lentpjūvė ) in Lentpjūvių gatvė (now Seimas is located here ). Industrial furniture production only began after the Second World War in place of the city's old sawmills. In 1941 the new rooms in the old leather factory in the Užupis district were set up. In 1960 the furniture combine only had areas of 3900 m². The company has been an Akcinė bendrovė since 1993 . In 2005 a new production department of the company was built in the Savanorių prospect. The current seat is at Savanorių prospektas .
