Vincent Kinchin (born  December 16, 1967 in New Romney , Kent , †  May 23, 2010 in Güstrow ) was a British railroad athlete .

He had been active since he was eleven and, after initial attempts at the speedway , mainly drove long-track and grass track races . At the British Masters Grass Track Championship he placed ten times among the ten best drivers, in 1998 and 2001 he qualified for the finals of the European Grass Track Championships . His greatest international success was the third place with the British team in the team competition of the Long Track World Championship 2008 in Werlte . In 2009 he won the 18th International DMV Grass Track Race in Angenrod . He drove for a club from Maidstone , the capital of the county of Kent.

During the 90th International Mountain Ring Race on the Teterower Bergring , which he called his favorite track in 2008, he had an accident after colliding with the machine of a fallen driver. A few hours later he died of the consequences of his injuries in the nearby Güstrow Clinic. He was the fifth fatality in the racing history of the mountain ring.

Vincent Kinchin was married and had two children. His learned profession was a decorator .
