Vittore Ugo Righi

Vittore Ugo Righi (born March 23, 1910 in Gualdo Tadino , Province of Perugia , Italy , † April 28, 1980 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican diplomat .

Life

Vittore Ugo Righi received on 24 June 1933, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On October 14, 1961, Pope John XXIII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Bilta and ordered him to Apostolic Internuncio in Iran . The Cardinal Vicar of Rome , Luigi Cardinal Traglia , donated him episcopal ordination on December 8th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Archbishop Ilario Alcini , and the President of the Pontifical Diplomatic Academy , Archbishop Giacomo Testa .

On February 1, 1964, Vittore Ugo Righi was appointed by Pope Paul VI. appointed Apostolic Nuncio in Paraguay . In 1967 Vittore Ugo Righi became an official in the Vatican State Secretariat .

Vittore Ugo Righi attended the first, second and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
