Britzke
Britzke or Brietzke is the name of a Magdeburg nobility family . His parent company of the same name, Brietzke (Möckern), is located in the old district of Jerichow .
history
The family first appears in a document in 1370 with Conradus Brezzik zu Redekin and Wust (Wust-Fischbeck) . The uninterrupted line of trunks begins around 1400 with Hennyng Britzgen . Britzke can be found as canons from the 15th to the 18th century in Brandenburg / Havel , Halberstadt , Magdeburg , Merseburg and Stendal ; As a Teutonic Knights they worked in the Ballei Sachsen as Komtur and Landkomtur and in the Ballei Franken. From 1820 until the expropriation in 1945, the Warchau manor was owned by the family. The former family cemetery (until 1945) is located near Warchau in Wusterwitz- Rosenthal in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district .

The coat of arms shows a six-pointed red star in silver. There are three ostrich feathers in silver, red and silver on the helmet with its red and silver covers .
