The Prague University of Economics , in Czech Vysoká škola ekonomická (University of Economics), or VŠE for short , is a public business university in Prague , Czech Republic . Around 1,150 academic employees work at the university and around 15,500 students study.
It was founded in 1919 as part of the Czech Technical University and has been an independent university since 1949.
