description

It was used for freight traffic. In contrast to the previous machines, it again had bogies . The position of the cylinders was striking . These were located between the bogie and the first coupling axle . The vehicles had type 3 T tenders . Some had condensation tenders .

Conversion to class T (old)

The KWSt.E. between 1879 and 1887 converted seven of them into two-axle wet steam tank locomotives in the state railway workshop in Aalen . These were run together with the class T locomotives built by the Heilbronn mechanical engineering company from 1896 . The locomotives from Heilbronn were given four-digit locomotive numbers (T 1000 to T 1010), the conversion locomotives were given two or three-digit numbers. The following machines were built: Locomotive 87 " WALDENBURG ", Locomotive 105 " KIRCHBERG, " Locomotive 113 " HORB ", Locomotive 115 "MARKGROENINGEN" , Locomotive 117 " WEIBERTREU ", Locomotive 126 " BUEHLER ", and Locomotive 129 " LIMBURG ". They had the new  B wheel arrangement . The bogie with the running axles was removed and the boiler moved to the rear. They were used as shunting locomotives until 1909 . They were replaced by the Württemberg T 3 . All locomotives were scrapped.
