history

Vangerow belonged to the district of Neustettin in the Prussian province of Pomerania . It was a rural community, a regional body at the lowest administrative level. The head of the community Vangerow was a community leader with no official seat. There were two places of residence in the community. Like the rural community, the main place of residence was called Vangerow. The smaller place was called Mühle. In the 1930s, there were 43 residential buildings in both places. Towards the end of the Second World War , the region was conquered by the Red Army in the spring of 1945 and then - like all of Western Pomerania - placed under Polish administration. After the war, the native German population Vangerow was sold .
