The WFV Cup 1960/61 was the 9th edition of the men's cup competition in Württemberg amateur football. The defending champion was VfR Schwenningen . In the final on April 21, 1961 in Metzingen , VfL Kirchheim / Teck won the title in the national cup for the first time with a 7-1 final victory in a duel between two major league clubs over TSV Eningen . This has long been the highest final result before the final match in 2004 the VfR Aalen the FSV 08 Bissingen with 8: 0 defeated. The game was led by the renowned referee Rudolf Kreitlein .
