The WFV Cup 1981/82 was the 29th staging of the men's cup competition in Württemberg amateur football. The defending champion was the amateur team of VfB Stuttgart . In the final on May 18, 1982 in Kirchheim unter Teck , SSV Ulm 1846 prevailed with a 2-0 win after extra time over the defending champions. This was the first time the club won the state cup under this name, and in the 1956/57 competition , the first title was won under the name 1. SSV Ulm. With this, the Ulm team shortened their gap to the previous record cup winner VfB Stuttgart Amateure to one title, in the following year the club drew level and remained the record cup winners to this day (as of 2020).

Both finalists qualified for the 1982/83 DFB Cup when they played in the final . The cup winner from Ulm reached the second main round there, in which the team failed in the replay at the then second division club SC Fortuna Köln . In a local derby, the VfB amateur team was eliminated in the first main round after extra time against the second division club SV Stuttgarter Kickers .
