WFV Cup 2010/11
WFV Cup winner in 2011 was's then third division 1. FC Heidenheim , which in the final on 11 May 2011 at the stadium at the Jesinger Avenue in Kirchheim unter Teck to 1. FC Normannia Gmund defeated. By winning the WFV Cup, the club qualified for the 2011/12 DFB Cup .
The title win was the third cup win in the history of 1. FC Heidenheim, which had reached at least the semi-finals in each of the three previous years. In the following three seasons, the team defended the title before it was no longer eligible to participate after promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga . The Baden-Württemberg top division club from Schwäbisch Gmünd missed winning the third title after 1977 and 2007 when they entered the finals for the third time .
The first three rounds of the cup competition were held in four regional groups. From the last sixteen onwards, the association played.
