WFV Cup 2015/16

The WFV-Pokal 2015/16 was the 64th edition of the WFV-Pokal as the highest cup competition of the Württemberg Football Association . The Baden-Württemberg upper division club FV Ravensburg won the title with a 5-2 final win over the league rivals FSV 08 Bissingen . By winning the WFV Cup, the club qualified for the DFB Cup 2016/17 .

The title win was the first cup win in the history of FV Ravensburg in the fourth final. The final opponent FSV 08 Bissingen was in the final for the second time after 2004 , at that time he had to accept the worst final result in the history of the competition with an 8-0 defeat in the final against VfR Aalen .

The first three rounds of the cup competition were held in four regional groups. From the last sixteen onwards, the association played. The defending champion SSV Reutlingen 05 , who attracted attention in the DFB Cup 2015/16 with a 3-1 first round win over Karlsruher SC and was only eliminated in the second round against Eintracht Braunschweig , was already in the third round of the association 's cup at the ex-Bundesliga club Stuttgart Kickers failed.
