WFV Cup 2008/09

WFV Cup winner in 2009 was that of his term of Baden-Wuerttemberg Oberliga SG Sonnenhof Großaspach , which in the final on June 2, 2009 in the Schwieberdinger rock mountain arena , the SpVgg 07 Ludwigsburg defeated. By winning the WFV Cup, the club qualified for the DFB Cup 2009/10 .

The title win was the first cup victory in the history of Sonnenhof Großaspach, in the same year the team also won the championship in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in 2008/09 and rose to the fourth-class Regionalliga Süd . The Württemberg association league club from Ludwigsburg missed winning the second title after 1974 when it made its third appearance in the finals .

The first three rounds of the cup competition were held in four regional groups. From the last sixteen onwards, the association played.
