The constituency of Glauchau was a state electoral district for the state election in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. Its constituency number was 55. For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was also changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. With the exception of two communities, the area of ​​the Glauchau constituency became part of the Chemnitzer Land 1 constituency .
