The constituency of Glauchau was a state electoral district for the state election in Saxony in 1990 , the first state election after the re-establishment of the state of Saxony. Its constituency number was 55. For the 1994 state elections , the constituency structure was also changed as a result of the district reform, and the number of constituencies was reduced from 80 to 60. With the exception of two communities, the area of the Glauchau constituency became part of the Chemnitzer Land 1 constituency . The communities Dennheritz and Schlunzig moved to the constituency of Zwickauer Land 1
