Walther Jentzsch

Walther Jentzsch (born June 30, 1833 in Magdeburg ; † February 18, 1916 in Paderborn ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Life

Jentzsch studied law at the Friedrichs University in Halle and became active in the Corps Marchia Halle in 1854 . After the exams he entered the internal administration of the Kingdom of Prussia . He began his career in his hometown with the government in Magdeburg and with the High Presidium of the Province of Saxony . Then he came to the government in Frankfurt (Oder) , to the High Presidium of the Province of Pomerania in Stettin and to the Prussian Ministry of Finance in Berlin. In 1871 he took over the administration of the Lennep district and in 1872 he was appointed provisional district administrator in the Simmern district . In 1875 he became provisional, and in 1876 he became district administrator of the Paderborn district . After 28 years, he retired in 1903 at the age of 70.
