The coat of arms of Colombia was introduced in 1834 and slightly changed in 1924.

The coat of arms is divided twice and shows a golden stalked pomegranate above in blue accompanied by a golden cornucopia on the right golden coins and on the left scattered fruits.

A red Phrygian cap tucked into a golden lance tip in silver.

Below in blue two three-masted square sailors with white set sails and with a golden stern flag driving to the right, separated by a green headland. On both sides of the coat of arms two national flags in the colors yellow-blue-red with silver pole tips and golden cords.

The naturally colored condor sits on the shield with outstretched wings and holds the shield in its beak on a green cord that is led through a silver ring. A golden lettering with black capital letters the motto "LIBERTAD Y ORDEN" to his catch.
