One day, Louise realizes that she has lost her clitoris and cannot orgasm . She consults a doctor, her friends, her gay boyfriend and a faith healer. Among other things, she tries out lesbian love, but it doesn't bring any results. After a while she comes to terms with the new situation.

Reviews

Collin Souter wrote on efilmcritic.com (parts of the review were published in the Chicago International Film Festival Guide in 2004) that the film is not boring and has a certain charm. However, he works like numerous other conventional comedies. It is refreshing that he shows sex in a different way than is common in French cinema.

The lexicon of international films wrote that the film was a "frivolous romantic comedy that denounces double standards and sex compulsions" and pleads for "a return to true values" .

backgrounds

The production costs were estimated at 3.92 million euros . The world premiere took place on May 14, 2004 at the Cannes Film Market , followed by the Saint-Malo Film Festival on June 18, 2004 and the Chicago International Film Festival on October 10, 2004 . On August 18, 2004, the film was released in French cinemas, which attracted around 216 thousand viewers.
