Laurent Bateau (* 20th century) is a French theater and film actor .

Life

Laurent Bateau first played theater and appeared in Shakespeare's Richard II . From 1992 he worked as an actor for French television. In Bertrand Tavernier's war film Captain Conan and the Wolves of War , he made his screen debut in a small role in 1996. In Belphégor (2001) he played a caretaker of the Louvre alongside Sophie Marceau and Michel Serrault . Two years later he was again alongside Marceau in the romantic comedy Je reste! (2003) by Diane Kurys . In 2006 he appeared alongside Jean Dujardin in the agent parody OSS 117 - The Spy Who Loved Each Other . For the comedy film LOL (Laughing Out Loud) he stood in front of the camera again in 2008 alongside Marceau.

Bateau can mostly be seen in supporting roles. Directors under whose direction it was used were, in addition to Tavernier, Claude Lelouch , Patrice Leconte and Clint Eastwood , in whose film Hereafter - Life After 2010 he was used in a small role. Over the years he continued to be active in television. From 2010 to 2012, he played a Jewish industrialist who belongs to the Resistance in 18 episodes of the series Un Village Français - Survival under German occupation .
