The Wasserburg Gültstein is an Outbound Wasserburg in today's district Gültstein of Herrenberg in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

The Burgstall is embedded in the wide Ammerbogen in the area where the Hirsauer Straße joins the Uferweg (parcels no. 300, 1078, 1078/1, 1078/4, 1082 / 1–3, 1083/2, 1083/3, 1084 / 1). It was probably built by the local nobility, first documented at the beginning of the 12th and until the end of the 14th century. In 1957, parts of the surrounding wall were exposed, but further historical data are missing until now.

More castles

A second castle probably stood in the area where the Torstrasse joins Zehnthofstrasse. The third castle is believed to be west of gilt stone on a ridge near Nebringen .
