Weikertschlag is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Bad Großpertholz in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 32 building areas with 13,783 m² and 2 gardens on 137 m² in the cadastral community Weikertschlag, and also in 1989/1990 there were 32 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 78 and in 2009/2010 there were 60 buildings on 88 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 203 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 233 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 166 hectares and 268 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 158 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 269 hectares. Weikertschlag's average soil climate number is 12.7 (as of 2010).
