West Renfrewshire was a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of nine constituencies in the West of Scotland constituency , which was redesigned and renamed West Scotland as part of the constituency revision in 2011 . Here the constituency of West Renfrewshire was abolished. He included areas of the Council Areas Inverclyde and Renfrewshire with the cities of Erskine and Port Glasgow and sent one MP. In the 2001 census survey, a total of 67,320 people lived within its borders.
