Wierzbicki is the name of Polish nobility - and Uradelsgeschlechter (from Pol. Wierzba , " willow tree " in German as "in / from the Willows"). It was first documented in 931 . Today there are around 10,000 people with this name in Poland. Wiersbitzky is also a variant of the writing .

history

The family spread from Pomerania, later West Prussia, across Poland, with branches in Lithuania, Russia and Volhynia. There were marriage ties to well-known Polish families, such as B.
