history

Beginnings to the 19th century

Wiesensüß (also: Wisensüß, Wiesensieß, Wißensiess, Wißensiess) is mentioned in writing in the Salbuch of 1473/75. In 1565 it is listed as belonging to the Nabburg provost of Reichenbach monastery . In 1606 Wiesensüß had 4 farms, 1 horse, 16 oxen, 16 cows, 10 cattle, 9 pigs, 136 sheep and 10 newborns. In 1792 it had 5 house seats .

At the beginning of the 19th century, the land was surveyed for the purpose of collecting taxes, property was recorded and cadastres were established. Churches began to develop in Bavaria. In 1811 there were 58 tax districts in the Nabburg Regional Court , one of which was Tauchersdorf. In addition to Tauchersdorf itself, Wiesensüß and Kurmhof also belonged to the tax district of Tauchersdorf. In addition, Wiesensüß was a member of the Tauchersdorf committee.

In 1819 Wiesensüß was part of the exclusively Catholic rural community of Pamsendorf with 7 families. In 1828 Wiesensüß had 5 residential buildings, 5 families and 38 residents.

20th century to the present

On March 23, 1913 (Easter), Wiesensüß belonged to the parish of Nabburg, Perschen branch church . It had 5 houses and 39 residents. In 1964 Wiesensüß had 3 residential buildings and 18 residents and belonged to the rural community of Pamsendorf and the district of Nabburg .

In 1971 the municipality of Pamsendorf was incorporated into the municipality of Hohentreswitz. Wiesensüß was now part of the Hohentreswitz community . On July 1, 1972, the district of Nabburg was dissolved and Wiesensüß came to the newly formed district of Schwandorf as part of the municipality of Hohentreswitz.

Until 1978 Hohentreswitz belonged to the community except Hohentreswitz itself

  • according to the list from 1842: Aspachmühle, Bornmühle, Bornmühlschleife, Fuchsendorf, Herdegen, Stelzlmühle
  • and after the incorporation of the municipality of Pamsendorf in 1971: Häuslberg, Kurmhof, Löffelsberg, Oberpfreimd, Pamsendorf, Rappenberg, Tauchersdorf, Trefnitz and Wiesensüß.

On May 1, 1978, the community of Hohentreswitz was dissolved, and arrived

  • Häuslberg and Trefnitz in the Guteneck community
  • Grubhof, Tauchersdorf and Wiesensüß to the city of Nabburg. The name Grubhof was only given in 1979 and describes a wasteland north of Tauchersdorf. In 1990 Grubhof belonged to the Hohentreswitz branch of the Trausnitz parish.

The rest of the municipality of Hohentreswitz - i.e. Aspachmühle, Bornmühle, Bornmühlschleife, Fuchsendorf, Herdegen, Stelzlmühle, Kurmhof, Löffelsberg, Oberpfreimd, Pamsendorf and Rappenberg - was incorporated into the town of Pfreimd.

On December 31, 1990, Wiesensüß had 21 residents and belonged to the parish of Nabburg.
