Rudolf Wilhelm Albrecht (born November 7, 1821 in Syke ; † March 23, 1896 in Berlin ) was a landowner and member of the German Reichstag . wa

Life

Albrecht attended the Lyceum . He studied agriculture at the polytechnic school in Hanover and the University of Jena . In 1843 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Jena . In 1849 he became a landowner in Suzemin near Preussisch Stargard . From 1866 he was provincial landscape director in Danzig and a member of the district council and district committee for Prussian Stargard .

From 1874 to 1878 he represented the Reichstag constituency of Danzig 2 in the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party . From 1880 to 1885 he was a member of the German Agriculture Council. From 1889 to 1896 he was a member of the Settlement Commission for West Prussia and Posen, the Provincial Committee of the Province of West Prussia and District Deputy of the Prussian Stargard District.

For his work he was awarded the Order of the Red Eagle, 2nd Class with Oak Leaves , in 1896 .

He married on May 16, 1854 in Osnabrück Dorothea Elisabeth Struckmann (* April 19, 1835 - April 19, 1870), the only daughter of the judiciary Gustav Wilhelm Stuckmann (1796-1840). The couple had several children:
