Wilhelm Henrichs

Wilhelm Henrichs (born November 10, 1897 in Grevenbroich ; † April 18, 1966 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending primary school and secondary school with the completion of high school and military service , he studied from 1918 law . From 1920 he was a trainee lawyer and from 1923 a court assessor. From 1923 to 1930 he was district member of the district of Opladen and from 1930 to 1934 mayor of Neuss . He was deposed by the National Socialists. Henrichs then worked as a lawyer .

Henrichs was a member of the German Center Party until 1933 ; from 1925 to 1930 he was a member of the district board of the Opladen district, from 1930 to 1933 a member of the board of the Center Party in Neuss. In 1945 he became a member of the CDU and was also active here in numerous party committees.

Since 1925 he was a member of the Catholic student union KDSt.V. Rheno-Baltia Cologne.

Henrichs was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from July 13, 1954 until his death on April 18, 1966 . He was directly elected in the constituency 057 Düsseldorf-Mettmann-Süd.
