Wilhelm organ man (* 23. September 1849 in Hannover , † 6. October 1898 ) was a German architect of the Gothic Revival and Hanoverian local politicians .

Life

Born in the royal seat of the Kingdom of Hanover , Wilhelm Orgelmann studied at the building trade school in Nienburg an der Weser before starting to work as a site manager from 1868 .

Orgelmann later studied from 1875 to 1876 under the matriculation number 6280 as a student of Conrad Wilhelm Hase at the Polytechnic School in Hanover , before working as a freelance architect in Hanover.

In 1881 he built himself - even in the open field - its own upper-class and in brick executed Villa under the present address Im Moore 24 .

According to the German-language daily newspaper Indiana Tribüne, which was published in the United States of America , Wilhelm Orgelmann worked in local politics as the mayor of the 13th district, also known as the Klagesmarkt district after the Klagesmarkt , i.e. as a member of the Hanover Citizens Committee .

The other residential buildings built by Orgelmann, especially in the northern part of Hanover, include the listed first parsonage of the Luther Church .

Orgelmann designed several urban development projects for the old town of Hanover, but they were not carried out.
