Wilhelm Prinzhorn (teacher, 1859)

Wilhelm Prinzhorn (also: Guilelmus Prinzhorn ; * February 21, 1859 in Burgdorf near Hanover ; † after 1938 ) was a German high school director and school councilor of the Prussian province of Hanover in Berlin .

Life

Wilhelm Prinzhorn, who was born in Burgdorf at the time of the Kingdom of Hanover , obtained his Abitur at Easter 1877 at the Ernestinum in Celle and then studied classical philology. After completing his military duties, he worked as a tutor for several years.

1885 Prinzhorn was with his drafted in Latin dissertation De libris Terentianis quae ad recensionem Calliopianam redeunt from the Georg-August-University of Goettingen to the Dr. phil. doctorate and later passed the examination for teaching at higher schools. From April 1, 1887, he completed his educational trial year in the Upper Harz mountain town of Clausthal at the grammar school there .

Around Easter 1888, Prinzhorn was appointed to the grammar school with secondary school in Goslar as a scientific assistant teacher . A short time later, in the winter of 1888/89, he took part in the course of the Royal Gymnastics Teacher Training Institute in Berlin.

From Easter 1890 to Easter 1894, Wilhelm Prinzhorn worked as an inspector in the Loccum Abbey , which was newly founded in Goslar , but continued to work as a senior teacher in Goslar until Easter 1902.

On April 1, 1902, Prinzhorn took over the management of the grammar school with Realprogymnasium in Hameln . On April 1, 1905, he was appointed director of Lyceum I in Hanover.

After Wilhelm Prinzhorn worked as a secret councilor in 1911 at the latest , he was appointed to the provincial school council in Berlin in 1912.

Around 1939 the now government councilor and high school councilor lived a. D. in Potsdam in the house Kapellenbergstrasse 7, in today's Puschkinallee.
