William "Will" Packer (born April 11, 1974 in St. Petersburg , Florida ) is an American film producer .

Life

Will Packer studied at FAMU in Tallahassee , where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996 . As early as the summer of 1994, he and director Rob Hardy founded the production company Rainforest Films , with which they both produced numerous films from then on.

In 2011, together with Martin Luther King III , Andrew Young , Andrew Young III and Rob Hardy, he founded the television network Bounce TV , the first network aimed at an African-American target group.

In 2013, Packer founded his own company, Will Packer Productions . With this he developed films such as Ride Along , Denk wie ein Mann 2 , Die Trauzeugen AG or Girls Trip .

Packer lives in Atlanta with his second wife, Heather, and their family . He has two daughters from his first marriage with Nina Packer.
