William Lucking

William "Bill" Lucking (born June 17, 1941 in Vicksburg , Michigan ) is an American film and theater actor. He gained international fame through his roles as Billy Walker in Welcome to the Jungle and as Piermont "Piney" Winston in the US drama series Sons of Anarchy .

Career

Lucking studied literature and acting at the University of California . He made his first acting experiences in front of the camera in 1965 in the US soap opera Zeit der Sehnsucht . In 1971 Lucking moved to Santa Paula to raise a family. Meanwhile, he continued to work on his acting career. Lucking worked in Doc Savage - The Man of Bronze and in the second part of The Man They Called Horse . In the late 1980s, Lucking devoted himself increasingly to theater acting. In 1985 he founded the Santa Paula Theater Center with Dana Elcar and was its artistic director for five years . During this time he produced a number of stage performances. This was followed by guest appearances in series such as Columbo , Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and JAG - On behalf of honor . He gained international fame through his roles as Billy Walker in Welcome to the Jungle and as Piermont "Piney" Winston in the US drama series Sons of Anarchy .

After the death of his first wife, Lucking devoted himself to acting, writing short stories and novellas . He lives and works with his second wife in Pasadena, California .
