Willy Rosenau

Willy Rosenau (born July 22, 1915 in Angerburg , East Prussia ; † November 26, 1999 ) was a German opera and radio singer (baritone) and founder of the internationally successful Rosenau trio . As such, Rosenau developed the listening sequence as a musical form of presentation, which is capable of a wide variety of topics by cleverly combining music and text - e.g. B. life stories of famous writers and musicians, city and landscape pictures, but also literary works - for musical evenings with a small cast (1 speaker, 1 singer, 1 pianist).

Life

His teacher Hugo Hartung gave Rosenau, who was born in Angerburg , "decisive foundations" for his career as a singer. Rosenau first sings under Hartung in Königsberg and on tours, soon at the Vienna Opera , various recitals, on the radio and also on the radio in other European countries. These appearances make Rosenau known even before he made a name for himself with his innovative audio series. The Rosenau Trio's largest and most successful tour took them to Colombia , Venezuela , Brazil , Uruguay , Argentina , Chile and Peru .
