Wilson Kwambai Chebet (born July 12, 1985 in Marakwet ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

He had his first successes on the half marathon distance . In 2005 he won the Route du Vin and in 2006 the AFC Half Marathon in San Diego . In 2007 he won the Ribarroja del Turia half marathon and the Málaga half marathon, set a course record on the Route du Vin and won the Marseille - Cassis road race . In 2008 he was third in the Rotterdam half marathon and the Delhi half marathon , fourth in the Paris half marathon and defended his titles in Ribarroja del Turia and Marseille - Cassis.

In 2009 Chebet finished fourth in the RAK half marathon and won the 20 van Alphen . After victories at the Pardubicer Weinkellerei Half Marathon and the Rabat Half Marathon , he achieved a personal best at the Rotterdam Half Marathon with 59:15 minutes. In one of the fastest half marathon races in history, however, this time was only enough for fifth place. At the Half Marathon World Championships in Birmingham he was sixth.

The following year he was sixth in the Abu Dhabi half marathon, second in both the Prague half marathon and Göteborgsvarvet and third in the Beach to Beacon 10K race . In autumn he finished second behind the Ethiopian Getu Feleke in the Amsterdam Marathon . His time of 2:06:12 h was the second fastest of a debutant over the marathon distance .

In 2011 Chebet won the Rotterdam Marathon and improved to 2:05:27 h. In the autumn of the same year he also won the Amsterdam Marathon.
