criticism
“Romanian westerns with some comedic accents, en (t) were the sequel to" Wanted is Johnny "(1977). Fairly entertaining without ever reaching the copied role models, ”writes the lexicon of international films . The Romanian Cultural Institute in Berlin points out the political dimension: “The historical tensions between the Romanian and Hungarian ethnic groups as well as leaving the Romanian homeland were delicate, because current issues are still dealt with in Pruncul, petrolul şi ardelenii in a system-stabilizing way: The protagonists constantly emphasize their homesickness and their desire for a quick return and the ethnic conflict is resolved by the various ethnic groups joining together in the fight against a common enemy.
