The official name is CPR. The CPR is part of the human-vocational schools in Austria, which is attended by students between 14 and 19 years of age. It lasts 5 years and ends with the matriculation and diploma examination (equivalent to Matura or Abitur); In addition to a general education, it offers economic and gastronomic training, two or three foreign languages and school-independent training focuses (e.g. in the field of tourism).

Passing the matriculation and diploma examination entitles you to study at universities, academies and technical colleges. Particular attention is paid to job-related foreign language teaching.

The training focus, which can be chosen independently from the school, enables a deepening of the training in tourist / economic sub-areas. Value is placed on the following key qualifications: professional mobility, flexibility, creativity, critical ability, social engagement and communication skills.
