Vladimir Vyacheslavovich Issakov ( Russian Владимир Вячеславович Исаков ; born February 28, 1970 in Pushkino , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian sports shooter .

successes

Vladimir Issakov, who started for Dynamo Moscow , took part in the Olympic Games five times . In 1996 he finished twelfth with the air pistol in Atlanta . Eight years later he reached the final with the air pistol in Athens , which he finished with 684.3 points behind Wang Yifu and Mikhail Nestrujew on the bronze rank . At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 he qualified with the free pistol with 563 points as fifth for the final, in which he initially finished fourth with the same number of points Oleh Omeltschuk with 95.9 points and thus 658.9 total points . In the jump-off, Issakov scored a 9.1, while Omelchuk only managed a 6.5. Since the original second-placed Kim Jong-su was disqualified for doping, Issakov subsequently received bronze. He finished the 2012 Games in London in tenth place with the free pistol , and in 2016 he reached 31st place with the air pistol in Rio de Janeiro .

In Lahti in 2002 and in Munich in 2010 , Issakov was world champion with the air pistol team . In 2006 he also won silver with her in Zagreb and in 2014 bronze in Granada . With the free pistol he also secured bronze in the individual and silver in the team competition in 2006.
