Wolfgang Adenberg

Wolfgang Adenberg (born March 8, 1967 in Cologne ) is a German musical writer , lyricist and translator . From him come u. a. the musicals Moulin Rouge Story , Fletsch and Emil and the detectives , all with music by Marc Schubring . The trained lawyer achieved particular fame through his translations of world-famous musicals such as Titanic , 42nd Street , We Will Rock You and The Scarlet Pimpernel . Since 2002 he has been translating the regularly updated texts of Starlight Express . Adenberg is a first-year graduate (1996) from the Celle School . On his CD label "Anything Goes Records" he produces and publishes recordings of rare musicals or related genres. a. the first German-language recording of Maury Yeston's December songs, interpreted by Pia Douwes .
